About Franklin Film School

Franklin Film School is a four year program within the Career Technology Education programming at Franklin High School in Portland, OR.  Franklin students have an opportunity to study filmmaking using state of art, industry standard equipment.

You can't learn to make a film in school. 


You can have the opportunity to make a film in school.  You have to learn it yourself.

The great thing about film school is the inspiration and the ability to give you confidence...  I think that is the greatest thing any teacher or guide could give a student.
